Morning Walk through the Magical Alleys of Patan to Community Hall for Yoga: Start your day with an enchanting walk through the winding alleys of Patan as we make our way to the community hall. Engage in a rejuvenating yoga session to stretch and prepare your body for the upcoming trek. Afterward, we’ll walk back to the accommodation, stopping along the way for a refreshing tea break before enjoying breakfast at the hotel.

Free Time for Rest and Exploration: Enjoy a leisurely afternoon to rest and take care of any last-minute shopping or preparations for the trek. This is your time to relax and ensure everything is in order for your adventure.

Evening Excursion to Kirtipur for Sunset and Traditional Dinner: In the late afternoon, we’ll take a short drive to Kirtipur, an ancient Newari hill town. Stroll through its historic streets, soak in the views as the sun sets over the valley, and cap off the evening with a delightful traditional dinner, offering a perfect blend of culture, history, and cuisine.

Today, we’ll begin with an early morning flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer by private jeep to Kande, the starting point of our trek, which takes about an hour. From Kande, we’ll embark on a scenic trek, hiking for approximately 4-5 hours to our overnight stop in Deurali.

After an early breakfast, we’ll set off on our trek through the forest trail toward Low Camp. We’ll take enjoyable tea and lunch breaks along the way, making the 5-hour journey more comfortable. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to relax and unwind at our lodge.

After an early breakfast, we’ll embark on our trek toward High Camp. Today’s journey will take approximately 5 hours, with the landscape shifting from lush forest trails to the open expanse at Badal Danda, where we’ll enjoy lunch. We’ll then continue for a few more hours to reach High Camp, our destination for the day.

We’ll start the day with a sunrise hike to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint, where you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) while enjoying a hot tea. After taking in the stunning panorama, we’ll descend back to Low Camp for the night.

Today, we’ll descend steeply to Sidhing, where we’ll catch a jeep back to Pokhara.

This day is yours to rest, recharge, and take in the serene beauty of Pokhara at your own pace. You may choose to drift across the tranquil waters of Phewa Lake by boat, take a refreshing swim, or simply savor a good book at one of the lakeside cafés. For deeper relaxation, indulge in a soothing massage, or explore the local shops and discover unique treasures.

Today, we’ll fly back to Kathmandu, where you’ll have some free time to spend as you wish. In the evening, we’ll come together to celebrate the journey with a special farewell dinner.


Flexible Arrival and Departure:

At Yoga Treks Nepal, we offer flexibility to suit your schedule. The yoga trek program officially begins on Day 1 of the itinerary, but you’re welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer in Kathmandu if you wish.

Arrival: We recommend arriving at least a day before Day 1 to rest and prepare, though you’re free to come earlier for more time to explore.

Departure: The trek ends on the final day, but feel free to extend your stay for extra relaxation or sightseeing.

Need help with logistics? We’re happy to assist with hotels, airport transfers, or activity suggestions before and after your trek.

Important Details

Accommodation:

During the trek, you’ll stay in simple guesthouses run by local families, with twin-bed rooms provided. If you’d prefer a private room, it can be arranged subject to availability along the trek. However, private rooms can be easily secured before and after the trek at hotels or boutique guesthouses, and pricing will be provided separately upon request. While blankets are provided, hot water availability may vary, and amenities like hot showers or electricity, when available, may come at an extra cost. For added comfort, you may wish to bring a sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, you’ll stay in boutique guesthouses.

Transportation:

We will use domestic flights when possible to save time and ensure comfort. For overland travel, private vans or jeeps will be arranged depending on road conditions.

Meals:

Meals on the trek will primarily be vegetarian, providing you with nutritious and energizing options. Lunch usually consists of Nepalese dal bhat, which is a hearty lentil soup served with vegetable curry and rice, fueling you for the day ahead. In the evenings, you’ll have a choice from a continental menu featuring a variety of dishes, including soups, pasta, pizza, and noodles, ensuring a satisfying end to each day of exploration.
